Students of Chavra D’Halchisa Tested by Renowned Posek Rabbi Gavriel Zinner

Dozens of students from Chavra D’Halchisa participated in a remarkable exam administered by the renowned posek, Harav Gavriel Zinner Shlit"a, author of the Nitei Gavriel halachic series.

The exam took place in Rabbi Zinner’s beis midrash in the Boro Park neighborhood, with participants from both the Issur V’Hetter track and the Hilchos Shabbos track.

The head of the institute, HaRav Daniel Glatstein Shlit”a, opened the event with words of encouragement and inspiration for the participants, who had invested time and effort in studying the halachos in depth and had now merited to be tested by one of the leading halachic authorities of our generation.

Rabbi Zinner personally tested each student and was deeply impressed by their knowledge. He praised the participants for dedicating time to Torah study—especially to halacha—despite the fact that most are not full-time kollel students, but working individuals who nevertheless maintain a consistent and admirable commitment to Torah learning.

Following the exam, a festive seudas mitzvah was held to mark this important milestone. During the celebration, representatives of the students spoke, highlighting their success in mastering the material—thanks in large part to the unique and structured learning program offered by Chavra D’Halchisa.
